You are late for an appointment and you can’t find your stupid cell phone. You know it is inside the house somewhere but you don’t know where. It’s happened to me numerous times and I’ve found a solution that works most of the time.
Wheresmycellphone.com allows you to quickly hop onto the Internet, and their website will ring your phone. Just type in your cell phone number and it will make it ring, allowing you to listen for it and find it most of the time. If your ringer is turned off you are out of luck, or if your battery is dead it’s a no go.
You can also set it to ring in 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, and 5 minutes. This will allow you to run out to your car and and try to listen for it there.
Don’t forget about Prey. It is more feature rich, but not as fast to use if you are running late.
